There is No Compulsion in Religion
Do not be misled by the mainstream media. Do not be misled by people who are anti-Islam but have never spoken to a Muslim or read the Quran. I am a Muslim, I am a Born USA Latino Muslim. I personally lived trials and tribulations from people who have distorted perception of Islam and Allah (Arabic word for God). A Muslim has no color a Muslim has no Race or Nationality. Woman are not slaves or property and the Hijab is a choice. Muslims do not hate Jews and Christians.
Muslims believe in Abraham Moses Jesus and Virgin birth of Mary and Allah is not a different God. Killing innocent people and hating people of different religion is not Islam. The Quran clearly forbids these things and clearly states “There shall be no compulsion in religion 2:256 / “You are forbidden to inherit women against their will” 4:1. This book also delves into the myths of child marriage. I’m classified as a controversial Muslim. Why? Because I question and I think for myself. I don’t follow what everyone follows. I research. God gave me intelligence, I wont choose ignorance.
Politics and Piety are two different things. Scholars and so called wise-men, Sheiks, it’s all personal opinion. AT the end of the journey I stand before God alone, and so do you. If you believe in God, look into the mirror, follow your heart, not the news or other people.
Every scripture is subject to an individual perception and interpretation. That’s why I wrote this book, “Fact vs Myth”. Many cultural traditions, like Pashtun tribal codes, have influenced harsh punishments that do not align with Islamic law. These outdated beliefs distort true Islamic principles, leading to unjust laws, especially against women. The Quran encourages wisdom and fairness, yet some reject differing opinions and impose rigid interpretations. True Islam promotes justice and compassion, not blind adherence to tribal customs that contradict its teachings.
